Our Culture

Our success is a testimony to the quality and performance of our people. The diverse talents and creative potential that every employee brings to the business have made us a clear leader in our field.

At Landmark, we have developed a culture that recognises performance at all levels and values everyone's contribution.

Our culture is one where people are given the freedom to be successful. Freedom to challenge, question and investigate and to improve, discover and solve. It's a culture which is underpinned by our core values:

Customer Focus

At Landmark, to focus on the customer is to inject our thoughts and energy into establishing what it is our customers really need and ensuring that we are able to deliver upon these needs. This is achieved by ensuring our employees possess a sound knowledge and understanding of the customer's market and business; are able to manage customer expectations; can deliver on promises and can effectively stimulate the market to generate maximum revenue. This is achieved whilst maintaining an approach based on honesty and integrity - helping landmark to ensure future success and stability built on solid business relationships and long-term commitments.

Innovation

We believe that everybody in the company has the potential to be creative in their approach. Our ability to think creatively means that we can tackle problems in a more innovative manner and come up with the more effective and efficient solutions to our problems, often making big differences through the smallest of innovations.

Landmark therefore promotes a culture centred on open communication and the transfer of knowledge and sharing of ideas in the workplace. It is therefore essential that ideas are offered, captured and recorded on a regular basis in order to harness the innovative potential of individuals within the company. This also requires tolerance of mistakes as well as rewarding ideas where appropriate.

The Landmark culture also emphasises the importance of possessing a "can do" attitude and consistently demonstrating this approach so as to set a positive example to others.

Performance Management

A further essential component of Landmark's culture is effective performance management. This is the ability to manage personal performance; the performance of a particular department or function; the performance of individuals within teams as well as the performance of meetings and other business events.

In order to perform well at Landmark, it is important that our employees possess the skills and knowledge needed to facilitate outstanding performance by themselves and their teams, therefore fostering an approach based on continuous improvement.

Such skills include understanding how to handle non-performance effectively, understanding expected levels of performance, learning how to set challenging yet achievable objectives, being able to deliver on time, placing the right people in the right jobs and knowing how to recognise and reward hard work.
