Trevor, Senior Project Manager
I gained a geology degree with a strong focus on cartography, remote sensing and embryonic GIS. This focused my career in the exploration, engineering and overseas development sectors, working with government and the private sector in the UK and in Asia.
I joined Landmark in 2002 and my role has changed as the business has grown. Currently part of the Solutions Senior Management Team, I ensure the successful delivery of a range of projects to our external client-base and am also involved in business development.
I like the can-do culture at Landmark, as well as the ability to influence the direction and growth of the business and my own role, and generally being surrounded by dedicated and talented professionals. The creative environment, team spirit and knowing that you can make a difference is what I find distinctive about working for Landmark. Outside of work I enjoy the great outdoors and being a hands-on dad to my young triplets! Working out of the Exeter office, a really nice part of the country is a real plus as well!

Alison, Marketing Executive
I am a member of the Property and Environment Marketing team. My role is very varied with main activities including: marketing planning, implementation of integrated marketing campaigns which includes direct mail, email marketing, advertising, market research and analysis and management of presence at trade events.
I joined Landmark over 3 years ago and my strong analytical background was key to the role. It was a relatively new team to the company and we needed to understand our customers and our markets. With the support of Landmark I have since completed a diploma in marketing and this together with more hands on experience has meant that I have taken on more responsibility for the marketing activity of our Environment division as well as getting involved in other projects.
In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, hiking and socialising with friends. I also like to try new activities and have recently enjoyed clay pigeon shooting. Having worked in large corporate organisations I find Landmark is far more friendly, sociable and very welcoming to new people.

Howard, Project Manager
After graduating in Engineering and Computing Science I worked as a consultant for Accenture in London . After almost 5 years at Accenture I decided I deserved some fun before committing to a long term career and became a windsurf & sailing instructor, working in Australia, Greece and the Maldives. This was fantastic and after a couple of years I came back to the UK and joined Landmark.
Landmark offers a great combination of living in the South West whilst developing a strong career. My role is to plan and manage the delivery of IT projects to support Landmark products. Projects can run from 1 to 6 months and involve a number of different teams accross the company.
I really enjoy working at Landmark, being able to work with a number of different teams, both functionally and geographically and who are enthusiastic about our products and their delivery. At Landmark 'work/life balance' is very much part of the culture; personally I like to end the day and get on the water for a few hours recreation.

Falk, Test Analyst
Before joining Landmark I read Geography at Leeds Uni. I am now a member of the IT Quality Assurance Team, responsible for the testing of all Landmarks products, websites, and applications before they are released. Recently I have also been involved in the coordination of the release process for Landmark products.
Although my job title has not changed since I joined in 2005, my role and skills have developed as the company has. I have been involved in large company wide I.T. projects and have relished the challenges and opportunities which these have provided. I work in a friendly team and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic and multi-disciplined environment. I regularly interact with other teams and team members throughout the business, which has really broadened my business and commercial knowledge.
Landmark is a forward thinking company which values its employees. The atmosphere is positive, which is reflected in the friendliness of everyone. In my spare time I play hockey and cricket for local clubs and coach the junior cricket section. I also enjoy travelling and later this year I will be taking a 3 month career break to embark on a round the world trip.

James, Software Developer
I first joined Landmark in 2006 and worked within the IT Development side of the business. After 12 months I moved to an operational role to gain a broader picture of Landmark's business and take on greater responsibility. Landmark has been excellent in providing the challenges I have sought in my career and has supported me in my professional development.
I am now part of a small team delivering application support and development to a wide range of projects. I am responsible for maintaining Landmark's data assets and helping support and develop new applications for storing and accessing this data. I enjoy working in an operational environment and the responsibility of helping to deliver a key enabler of Landmark's core business. I most enjoy the freedom I am given to do a good job amidst the shared responsibility of a team, who all enjoy working together. Landmark trusts its employees to do a good job which creates an excellent blend of commitment to the task and good working relationships.
The company has an informal and friendly feel but is also straight forward and no-nonsense when it comes to getting the job done. Outside of work I enjoy going to the beach with my 3 children, body boarding and the occasional barbecue!
