Historical Land Use Data
Detailed data, plotting historical, potentially contaminative land uses from c.1840 to c.1995
Using the Department of Environment guidelines set out within environmental legislation in 1990 and 1995,
Landmark has systematically analysed the Historical Map Data, at 1:10 560 and 1:10 000, for 67 different
types of different types of industrial and geographical land use to create a unique comprehensive database
of Historical Land Uses from the 1840s to the present day.
The Land Use Data provides a series of point, polygon and line images that can be accurately layered onto
modern day mpping.
Attribute data records the position, date range and the nature of the site and is linked to central government
rankings.
The data can be imported into all GIS and spreadsheet formats.
