We have recently completed a comprehensive analysis of the most detailed post-war mapping available for past
and present tanks, petrol storage, oil, gas, electricity and miscellaneous facilities - some of the most dangerous
sources of possible contamination.
By analysing over 300,000 digital maps, at 1:1250 and 1:2500, from 1948 to the present day, including current
Ordnance Survey Land-Line, we have produced the most complete list available, with nearly 400,000 features recorded.
The data is supplied as accurately geocoded point data, fully attributed, for overlay onto modern mapping.
